Dr. Grant Phillips
Dr. Phillips is a seasoned correctional health professional who serves as a surveyor for the National Commission on Correctional Health Care and consultant for NCCHC Resources. He is medical director of Maricopa County Correctional Health Services in Phoenix, Arizona. As medical director, Dr. Phillips oversees five facilities comprising one of the largest jail systems in the country and is responsible for ensuring quality medical, dental, and mental health services for the roughly 100,000 individuals booked into the system each year. Previously, Dr. Phillips served as lead provider at Maricopa County’s Estrella Jail and as a major in the Medical Corps of the U.S. Air Force. Dr. Phillips is also a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians.
