Barbara Lee

Ms. Lee has over 30 years of public service leadership and management experience. She served as the Medical Services Administrator for the San Diego Sheriff’s Department for 10 years. During her tenure, the Sheriff’s Department operated seven adult detention facilities throughout San Diego County. She oversaw an annual operating budget of $93 million and over 300 staff members. Her strengths lie in contract administration, financial management, strategic planning, program management, human resources, and team building. She holds a Master of Public Administration and a juris doctor degree and is a surveyor for NCCHC.
